Clinical Supervision for LCMHCAs

Supportive. Skill-Building. Real-World Ready.

If you’re an LCMHCA in North Carolina working toward full licensure, you’re in the right place. Clinical supervision is a big part of your practice, and it doesn’t have to be overwhelming — I’m here to help guide you through it with experience, encouragement, and practical insight from the field. Think of clinical supervision as your professional GPS. It’s where you get the guidance, support, and feedback to help you grow into a confident, ethical, and skilled therapist. As your supervisor, I’ll be your sounding board, your coach, and your support system as you take on the challenges (and joys!) of working with clients. Supervision sessions are collaborative, supportive, and grounded in your real cases and professional goals. If you are interested in working together or would like to explore whether this is a good fit, please reach out using the ” Get Started” form below.

What Does NC Require?

The North Carolina Board has a few boxes we need to check:

  • 3,000 total hours of supervised practice (at least 2,000 in direct client work)
  • 100 hours of supervision (75 of those must be one-on-one)
  • A supervision contract for each setting and supervisor
  • Supervision through recordings, or real-time feedback
  • Quarterly reports and one final report at the end

But don’t stress — I’ll walk you through it all and help keep things organized and on track.

Why Work With Me?

I’ve been in the therapy world for over a decade, and my experience in crisis work has sharpened my ability to think on my feet, navigate complex ethical situations, and make sound clinical decisions under pressure. I know what it’s like to be in your shoes — excited, maybe a little nervous, full of questions. I create a space that’s not just about checking off hours but building confidence and real-world clinical skills you’ll actually use.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

  • Fair Pricing
  • Years of hands- on counseling experiencing with a wide range of clients – including crisis work, community mental health, and private practice
  • A strong understanding of the NC licensure processes
  • A straightforward, supportive approach to supervision
  • Real talk about the work we do — from setting boundaries to dealing with burnout
  • Flexible scheduling – I get that life and work doesn’t always follow a 9-5
  • A mix of modalities to fit your learning style ( we can talk cases, review recordings, role play, and more
  • Clear Expectations from day one.

If you’re ready to grow as a clinician with someone who’s been there, who gets it, and who wants to see you thrive, let’s talk.

Professional Consultation / Supervision for fully licensed therapists

Single Case Consultation

Sometimes a fresh perspective can make all the difference. Single case consultation is designed for therapists seeking guidance on a specific client, clinical challenge, treatment approach, or ethical concern. Together, we’ll explore case conceptualization, identify barriers to progress, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Ongoing supervision/ consultation for fully licensed clinicians

Even seasoned clinicians benefit from having a trusted colleague to process challenging cases, explore clinical questions, and prevent professional isolation. Ongoing consultation provides a collaborative space for experienced therapists to deepen their clinical work, strengthen decision-making, navigate complex cases, and continue growing as professionals. This service is designed to offer support, accountability, and thoughtful clinical dialogue throughout your career.

Crisis Support

When a client presents with safety concerns, suicidal ideation, self-harm, or other high-risk behaviors, it can be difficult to know the best next step. Crisis consultation provides therapists with immediate support in assessing risk, developing appropriate safety plans, navigating documentation, and determining the appropriate level of care. My goal is to help you feel confident in your clinical decision-making while ensuring ethical, effective, and client-centered care.
